The CACDP Assessments

You have the option of taking this course with three CACDP assessments (one for each unit). If you pass all three assessments you will be awarded the Level One Certificate in British Sign Language. This is a nationally recognised qualification and will allow you to move on to Level Two.

The assessments involve a conversation with the tutor that will be videoed with the tape then being sent off to CACDP for marking/validation. These will take place during the course as follows:

Unit 101 - Day 3
Unit 102 - Day 7
Unit 103 - Day 8

If you are unsuccessful in passing all three units, you can still acheive certification for the units you successfully completed and re-take a unit assessment at a later date.
