Why did I choose to become a Hypnotherapist and Coach?
Like you, I have faced and overcome many challenges. NLP and Hypnotherapy helped me to become my authentic self, and this prompted me to train as an NLP Practitioner in 2014.
The key to a balanced and healthy life is to accept, process and resolve what you can’t change, identify what you want to change and realise your best hopes.
I have witnessed my clients identify their true needs and set realistic and achievable goals to move their lives forward whether its overcoming a fear of spiders, or creating and achieving new goals. Read my client Testimonials.
I trained with renowned NLP trainer Ewan Mochrie at Inspire 360 as an NLP Practitioner and Coach. Using the skills and knowledge gained, I can support you to overcome phobias, anxieties, negative habits and states (anger, sadness, fear) and coach you to identify and reach new goals.
My teaching, study skills, communications experience and storytelling skills all complement my NLP Practitioner training. Using language, metaphor and Milton's Model of communications, I help you identify your authentic needs and your specific and achievable goals. By working collaboratively with you, I help you prepare your unconscious mind for success.
Committed to continuous learning, I gained a Certificate in Solution Focused Brief Therapy with eminent SFBT Trainer, Elliot Connie, in August 2018 and was awarded a Diploma in a Solutions Focused Hypnotherapy with Clifton Practice Hypnotherapy Training in December 2018. I am fully accredited with the Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapists, DBS checked and fully insured and am now studying for my second Diploma.
Having worked with autistic children, I understand the challenges and communications issues that those on the spectrum experience. I also work with those suffering from chronic illness looking for balance in their lives and those who have experienced childhood trauma who are all ‘talked out’ and want to find a way to move forward.
Before starting Sense-Ability, I spent over 25 years in marketing, communications and development in business-to-business, SMEs and independent schools, and was a primary school teacher at Brookland Junior School, Hampstead Garden Suburb for five years. I have a degree in English, Drama & Theatre Studies from Royal Holloway College and a PGCE in KS2/3 from Homerton College, Cambridge.
