Did you know you can learn to control your thoughts and responses, whatever life throws at you? Your subconscious and primitive mind doesn’t know the difference between reality and imagination. It stores fears and anxieties that stop you moving forward in life. Once you know that, you know you can change your thoughts and beliefs.
On a foundation of NLP Practitioner, Time-Line Therapy™ and Hypnotherapy training, I use language, metaphor and Milton's Model of communications to identify what's holding you back from achieving your authentic needs and goals.
During our sessions I'll work with you to remove the obstacles, negative states, phobias and anxieties and help you clarify what you really want and need, set new goals, and work with your subconscious mind to help you achieve them.
Neuro-Linguistic Programming or NLP is a model of communication that explains how we communicate with ourselves and others, and how communication creates and affects our behaviour. It is a proven process that uses language and visualisation techniques to help you resolve negative states, anxiety and phobias, and helps you determine and achieve your goals, via a number of simple but highly structured techniques that help 'rewire' your neural pathways.
NLP is a synthesis of cognitive and behavioural philosophies which focus on the information coming in through our neurology and the programmes we run in our heads to produce our behaviours.
During our first session I explain how the mind works, and how you can change your unconscious mind. Using NLP, I learn about your current thought patterns, unwanted actions, and language and how you use it. We work together to move towards where you want to be.
NLP uses the ability of the mind to experience imaginative scenarios as real to alter automatic negative responses and to reprogramme your subconscious mind for a healthier, more balanced and successful life.

When I mention hypnotherapy and hypnosis many people, having seen stage hypnotists, imagine they will be made to bark like a dog, or quack like a duck. Nothing could be further from the truth.
Hypnotherapists aim to induce a relaxed and receptive state in clients in order to access the subconscious. Many people have concerns about this process but rest assured, you are always in control and can bring yourself out of this deeply relaxed state at any time. I am also governed by strict ethical guidelines.
This relaxed state is much like the trance-like state you fall in to when you are driving, watching a good film or walking in the countryside. It is a natural state and, in itself, can be deeply restorative.
People hold unhelpful beliefs about themselves in their subconscious. Using advanced hypnotic language patterns, developed by Milton Erickson, you can change embedded negative thoughts and patterns into new positive narratives.

Time Line Therapy™ was developed to help people rid themselves of negatives states and emotional baggage using their own internal time line.
I guide you to elicit an internal time line where your past, present and future are mapped within your subconscious. Time Line™ Therapy helps you heal emotional traumas, eliminates unwanted thoughts, emotions and behaviours quickly. There is no need to disclose or re-experience negative experiences or to disclose them to me.
