Resolve simple phobias rapidly, and manage and resolve deep-rooted complex phobias like medical phobias, agoraphobia, social phobias or deep rooted irrational fears painlessly at your pace.

You may have lived with your phobia, and the profound anxiety and distress it causes for months, or years. So what stops you tackling your phobia?

Simple Phobias

Resolving simple phobias without re-traumatization is usually quick and easy - typically one session to resolve it, and another to reframe and create confidence in new, better ways of responding. Simple phobias include fear of things like spiders and other insects, dogs and other animals, buttons and other objects. We recognise the fear is irrational however, the trigger can cause total panic and terror.

Sense-Ability Rewind Phobia Therapy is a rapid and effective therapy that works well for simple phobias (insects, animals, objects etc). Sense-Ability Solution Focused Hypnotherapy gives you the inner confidence to gave the thing you once feared in a calm, relaxed way.

If the phobia has been held in your body and mind for many decades, or you have been shamed or ridiculed over many years, it may have become a more complex phobia.

Complex Phobias

Complex phobias, like emetophobia, some needle phobias, medical phobias, social anxiety, agoraphobia, claustrophobia and other phobias involving physiological responses or linked to profound trauma, can take longer, usually 6 to 10 sessions, but sometimes more.

For complex phobias, a combination of Rewind Trauma Therapy to resolve a sequence of embedded traumas (if appropriate), and Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is effective and painless.

Emetophobia

Fear of vomiting or emetophobia is the toughest phobia to overcome. The Sense-Ability Emetophobia Recovery Programme is rooted in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy with the addition of Dr Muss Rewind Trauma for complex trauma where needed, specific elements of NLP, mindfulness breathing techniques and EFT tapping are included. These support you as make progress through to full resolution of this highly complex phobia.
